Jill Stuart does design some interesting handbags, but her Bedford Emma Clutch is a total snooze. I can understand paying through the roof for a clutch that’s glamorous, detailed, offers some unusual features - just about any reason makes sense if you love the bag enough. But even a relatively low $195 price tag seems out of control for a boring pebbled leather clutch with nary a sign of personality anywhere on its body. It might be timeless, but it’s also boring.
