Marc Jacobs shows off a little prim and proper with this handbag, the unexpected but still attractive BE. V Quilted Bag. I’m not sure what BE. V means - if it’s Bridget Jones-speak, maybe MJ thinks we’ll all BE. V. interested in dropping cash on this bag. Maybe. It’s classic and pretty, albeit a little too simple. MJ’s ubiquitous gold push-lock manages to make a home for itself on almost all of the designer’s creations, and even on this little thing it looks like it belongs. Against the royal blue background, it’s a real vision.

I like the chain strap of this Marc Jacobs BE. V Quilted Bag, but I'm torn on the quilted blue material. It's got sort of a librarian thing going on.
