Chanel Spring Summer 2007

Count on legendary designer
Karl Lagerfeld to create a collection purely composed of elegance and class. The signature prim and proper style of
Chanel is still apparent in its
Spring/Summer line of 2007, but enhanced and modernized. I love how Karl Lagerfeld contrasted the purity of the white collared shirtdresses with long, multi-stranded gold necklaces and wide gold bangles. He gives us the notion that style is in the flawless tailoring and impeccable design, and of course in the essential striking accessories. The dominant colors were gold, black and white and my favorite piece of all was the gold and black short dress. The silhouette is so simple, yet so riveting. It’s not a wonder why Chanel remains to be the favourite of Hollywood and high society. The pieces are timeless and priceless. (photos courtesy of vogue.co.uk)
