If “The Dark Knight” got you jonesing for the Joker’s passion for purple, you’re not alone. This royal hue is a great transitional choice, one that’s bold and colorful for summer, and rich and moody for fall. I’d avoid looking too Concord-y by limiting yourself to one purple piece - either a garment, or a bag, and/or a not-overwhelming print that has a Barney-ish pop to it.
