Hermes Takes it Outside
By: Mariana L.
This canvas tote looks basic, made with very good quality pebble leather and canvas, (as it should be for about $1800) and is offered at a pretty shade of indigo blue. Here is where I have a problem… it is listed by Hermes as the “Garden Tote”. The styling is clearly inspired by big garden totes that upscale homemakers might use. However, I just cannot imagine someone, even the French (where this bag is produced) dragging this out into the yard into the dirt as they dig through their pumpkin patch and pull out worms. Am I wrong? Please send me a photo of you among your prize-winning azaleas if you do indeed garden with this lovely, but misnamed bag.
