Dior conceives something slightly offbeat with this
Jeweled Shopper. It’s new for fall, it’s swathed in a rich shade of fuchsia that will pair beautifully with all of your deep, smoldering neutrals and it’s got a few multicolored square jewels dotted over the front pocket. Despite having all of that, it falls short of being the
handbag of the season, probably because, while the construction is great and the color is gorgeous, the end result is boring and almost mechanical. I’d rather see lots of jewels or none at all, and I don’t want a large, floppy patch pocket on a $2900 bag. Who are they kidding?
