Spring St. handbag has all of the elements that make the bag so quintessentially and memorably Marc Jacobs (namely the requisite gold hardware and quilted leather), but it no longer holds the lure it would have several years ago. Why? Probably because I’ve had my fill of quilted
Marc Jacobs bags and I probably need another fuchsia purse like I need, well, another
purse at all. MJ easily can and will do better, so for now I’ll keep waiting and watching.
