Gap is now under the creative direction of Patrick Robinson, the American designer who had a collaboration with Target last summer and worked for Perry Ellis and Paco Rabanne. His approach for Gap seems to have worked wonders, as a cruise through the store made for quite the fall shopping list this past weekend. What really caught my eye was the array of reasonably priced handbags that Gap was offering. The quality is stellar, and the leather, even more so. Soft, pliable leather that rivals the type we find going for four figures at a fancy department store. This large leather tote is available in true black, and runs about $210. Not cheap, but not expensive considering the average bag Pursepage reviews runs in/around 1k.
The
large leather tote looks great for the office, and works equally well with low key weekend looks for fall and winter. Plus, the super soft leather will only get more yummy with age and at this price you don’t have to be too precious about it.
