Hermes Picotin Purse
By: Jennifer H.

Hermes took some of the sting out of their typical price tags when they introduced this little handbag several years ago. Giving hope to the hopeless, the Picotin purse starts at just over US$1,000. Unlined, it references a horse’s feedbag, but I’ve never seen an equine dine so well. It has metal feet on the bottom and a belt across the top that you can tighten to keep the contents a bit more secure. Simple and soft, the Picotin purse comes in 3 sizes, the PM, MM and GM (the GM features longer straps) and endless leather and color combinations, so you can pick the little bit of arm candy that’s just right for you. Sold exclusively at Hermes and select Neiman Marcus stores.
