Apparently Marc Jacobs is human, afterall, because from his otherwise-genius mind came a vision of ghastly paisley held up by gym bag-esque, navy and red handles. Indeed, the Paisley Gardener Tote, part of the less expensive Marc by Marc Jacobs line, is simply a mess of materials that can’t seem to agree with each other. We have the paisley cotton body, with a rather loud, summery, touristy feel to it, paired with nylon handles trimmed in leather. It does have size on its side, which is a plus - you’ll never want for space with this roomy bag. But you’ll definitely be craving a plastic bag to hide this in after you’ve carried it for about five minutes. For those who dare, this bag is available at Nordstrom and sells for $278.
