I fall head over heels for practically every Marc Jacobs bag I lay eyes on, and the Sporty Zippered Tote is no exception. In fact, this one has been calling my name for days! The exterior’s pebble leather is so smooth and soft, it’s nearly impossible not to keep running a hand over. The bag features two exterior angled zip pockets, and its bold black color is accented by goldtone hardware. Similar in design to the designer’s much-heavier Venetia handbag, the Sporty Zippered Tote is slightly less cumbersome than that (it wouldn’t be very sporty if it wasn’t lightweight). It’s also easier to close, utilizing a zipper and bridge closure that snaps into a pushlock. For ease of use, it’s always helpful to leave the closure unlocked while shopping or running errands.
