I hate to say it, but I think our youthful, fun, fresh friend Marc Jacobs really missed the boat on this one. Is he designing for me, or my grandmother? This
Marc Jacobs Mink Clutch reeks of dowdiness, even if it is created from luxurious mink fur (PETA activists are getting their spray paint cans out as I write this). The gold chain handle and front buckle lock are modern touches, but seem incongruent. It still comes off as matronly, and uneven, and the thought of carrying around something furry is unappealing. Imagine the upkeep!
