Heidi Klum makes motherhood look so easy - and stylish. I love the smart but chic look this black leather purse she’s carrying on a recent outing. The cross-body strap keeps her hands free (for important ice cream-related business), and the two front pockets are great for stashing things away. The handbag’s gold hardware and zipper details are modern but not too out there. Do you know the designer?

Can't name the bag but I love the long strap. You need those when you have kids to keep your hands free.

Having seen this picture on your site, I became obsessed with it (the purse).

I called Marc Jacobs headquarters in NY; emailed them the picture and they said it wasn't theirs. But they said it could be vintage Coach.... So, I contact Coach hdqrts and emailed them a picture and they said no, it wasn't theirs either.... I even contacted Danielle @ celebrity-babies.com to see if she had any contacts who could ID the bag, but no luck. Danielle even asked her friend who runs bagtrends.com about the bag and even that person had no idea....

Of course, I didn't stop there; I contacted Heidi's publicist (in LA) AND almost contaced her fatherager (father/manager) -- but I realized I was going overboard. I never heard back from the publicist (no big surprise).

OBSESSED I TELL YOU!!!!!!!

So, I have convinced myself she bought this fantastic cross body bag in a flea market in Germany for $20.

Again, thanks a lot Marco for putting this out there and now it is the ultimate cliffhanger!!!!!! Seems we'll never know the origin of this lovely bag.

So, I bought this bag instead bc it was the closest thing I could come to. It is decent and your readers are probably laughing at the bag, but it works for what I was wanting it to do.... free my hands so I can control my kids while keeping my phone, wallet and lipstick close by!

Roots Canada makes this bag. I'm from ontario and I was in Roots the other day and saw this gorgeous bag. It's made of the softest leather and in red, yellow, brown, white and black, also in various sizes. The size shown here is $128.00. Hope this helps
