Reality TV

Sometimes, I can't help but wonder if they people on these shows have scripts. For example, look at all of the drama on every season of MTVs Real World/Laguna Beach... can people really be that petty?

I think shows like American Idol are nice, because it gives people an opportunity to do what they love... with the possibility of becoming famous.

So what is your take on reality television shows?

I love reality TV! The shows suck me in every single time. I love the drama. I would say that 90% of my television watching goes toward watching these shows.

I do wonder sometimes if shows can be scripted just to make better television.

Although I do love reality Tv shows to. You do have to wonder if they are all real. Say Jerry Springer for an Example. Is this all real? I often wonder if it is or only some of it. I am into watching Australian Idol at the moment, I like these reality shows and Dancing with the Stars as they are more real and down to earth. We have just finished Big Brother over here to. I used to watch it a lot but I am getting sick of the same old same old on it.

I'm totally hooked on reality TV! But, yeah, I think that if they don't have scripts, then they are at least strongly encouraged to do certain things.

I am obsessed with Top Model, Project Runway, and Top Chef...mostly because these are people with skills. Can't watch American Idol though...can't handle the "yacht rock." My friend went out with Constantine so I met him and a bunch of Idols but I didn't know who any of them were...except Bo (who is short in person).

I only like a few reality tv shows: Top Model, American Idol, Iron Chef, The Apprentice.

hmm..i like watching america's next top model....it's always interesting.

Well, I think they're also scripted so that more and more people would still be eager to see the twists and some surprises.
