An Elie Saab-clad Vanessa Williams had already proved herself a diva on the stage before taking the reins as one on hit show “Ugly Betty”. It is no surprise that she looked fabulous and picked up the most glamorous Carlos Falchi purse in the gift lounge the other night at the 2007 Tony Awards. The soft buffalo leather of this oversized hobo looks beautifula against the teal of her gown. The contrast handle and stitching gives it a classy and classic touch. It may look rather neutral from the outside, but it has a lively and bright colored lining inside.

Must be nice to be a celebrity and walk in and just "pick up" a beautiful leather bag like she did.IMO ...I think she has a huge ego and there fore I just do not like her.

love the chic look but somehow the bag doesnt go with the dress..a clutch would have done the trick!!!!:P

Fabulous! But what's the other strap? It looks as if she may be carrying someone else's purse and had hers wrapped around her shoulder which would have matched her dress better.


Just a thought.

Somebody show me where this "gift lounge" is!!! I want to go!! It's a nice bag (even nicer price) but definitely doesn't go with the dress.
