While sister Paris flirts with lots of trendy purses (she’s carrying a flashy gold number here), Nicky Hilton seems to stick to a handful of tried-and-true handbags. Here she’s carrying the classic Balenciaga Motorcycle bag in black, which is a bit heavy for a party but still complements (and doesn’t overwhelm) her silky purple dress. The Motorcycle may not be as groundbreaking and exciting as it used to be when it first arrived, but it’s still a great go-to handbag when you want modern style.

Nicky's Balenciaga collection is very impressive, and, unlike Nicole Ritchie, all of her bags are authentic. Classic black is great, but I think a First, not a City bag, would have suited the occasion best.

Paris is carrying a Fendi Buckle Bag. She likes the Fendi B Bags very much.

Unfortunately, yes. It's widely known that several of her Balenciagas are fakes. The straps are too long, the hardware is wrong, and, sometimes, even the colors are are so off (as in they've never been produced by Balenciaga).

This is not to say she doesn't own authentic ones. She does, but she mixes them with fake ones. I guess I don't really understand the logic behind that.

hmm....maybe she assumes that just because she has lots of real ones the public will automatically think every balenciaga she has is real....that's really tacky!!
