First Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani, then Sarah Jessica Parker…now Fergie? Our favorite Black-Eyed Pea has put down the mic and picked up the sewing machine, and is now designing a new line of handbags for Kipling (yep, the backpack people). The black tote Fergie’s carrying is one of her creations (note the flash of blue). I like the handbag’s shape but I’m not totally blown away…what do you guys think? They will be in stores September 1st.

fergie's designs are unusual, colors are brill, but quality is terrible as if very cheaply made. bought 5 bags returned 4.

I have to agree with Angelah.

I just happened to be out with the family shopping this weekend when I saw her bags, liked them instantly- they are cute.

My dad picked one up and mentioned how cheaply they were made- he is a tailor so he always looks at lines and construction, when he saw the price he immediately mentioned that if I bought one he wouldn't alter my clothing anymore.

Not worth losing a free tailor over.
