Between NBC’s
Lipstick Jungle and ABC’s
Cashmere Mafia, I feel suffocated at the amount of television that tries its very best to be fashion-related. At least Lipstick Jungle is based on a
Candace Bushnell novel (the real life
Carrie Bradshaw), but still, I find it incredibly annoying that this is the selling point to both shows. Here the cast is at the
Dennis Basso show at
NY fashion week, and looking mighty…gray. While the soft metallic undertone plays well with their looks, I’d expect to see a lot more color on girls launching a network series.
