I want to do something nice...

OK, I've been a real grouch for a few weeks (long story, but I'm in a good mood again now), and my husband has been really, really nice - I feel bad for being such a meanie lately, and I want to make it up to him.

We're pretty skint at the moment, but we will be going away for a few days soon, and we'll have some spare cash, but not much. I want to treat him to something, but I'm not sure what...

We're heading to London, we'll be staying in the Soho area - can anyone recommend any good places to visit for a Science Fiction or Rock Music fan on a budget? If not, any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

Not science fiction I know, but given that sci fi fans often like the real thing too, there are many wonderful science museums you could go to. There is also something called Sci-Fi London, but in truth I am clueless as to what it is-just read a reference some time ago in one of my magazines.

how about you go on a beatles tour!!! if the both of you are rockers..why don't you explore abbey road,etc...the cavern and feel like freespirited 20 year olds again
