Abortion

Do you think abortion is wrong? Would you ever get an abortion? I do think it's wrong, especially if you want one to just get out of the responsibility that should have for your mistakes. The only time I EVER feel it might be necessary is if having the baby could kill the mother due to complications forseeable. I would never get an abortion, that is just me though. What are your thoughts on the issue.

I feel that it has to be the decision of the woman who's body is affected by the pregnancy. My personal outlook is that I would rather not have my daughter go through it, but ultimately it has to be her decision.

Yes, it's wrong. I simply feel that life is more important than choice. Choice is fine, but when another life is involved, it's a completely different issue.

I think it's wrong for me personally, but I would never want Roe Vs. Wade to be overturned. I don't speak for all womankind, and I would hate to go back to the days where women didn't have the right to choose. Women died from poorly performed abortions that were conducted in unsanitary conditions...

I'm pro-life. I see very very very few situations where an abortion should be preformed. Abortion is not birth control and should not be treated as such. If a woman (and a man) are mature enough to have sex, then they are mature enough to make a responsible decision and protect themselves if they are not ready for a baby.

I was all for the abortion when my ex husband knocked up that teenage bartender. I should have divorced him then. I was too stupid. just young and dumb. it took many years before I finally realized what he was. he was a womanizing pig! he cheated on me so much! I am lucky I dont have any STD's from him.

I think that it has it's perks. It isn't right, it is wrong but it is an option. See you have to understand and except when things you do aren't right and this is one of them. I do understand why people do it though but the bottom line is it is wrong, in GOD's eyes.

If I got pregnant any time soon I would have to consider it only because I'm not ready for a kid, and I'm very young to be having one. But, I do think abortions are very wrong, I hate seeing pictures on the internet and hearing about abortions. It makes me sick. I love kids but I wouldn't be ready for one. Although, yes if it did happen it would be my fault and my responsibility, but I also wouldn't want my child to have a tough life because I had one too young =/

I think it's the decision of the woman and there might be certain circumstance that let abortion look like a valid option.

This topic needs to be talked about carefully. Personally, I do think that abortion is wrong, but there are always extenuating circumstances during which decisions must be weighed carefully. For instance, if there was a large health risk for the mother in an emergency situation, and there was more of a chance for the mother to survive, then abortion would be a wise option.

In cases of women who aren't able to properly care for a child, adoption is always an option. Of course there will be shame and other strong emotions involved, but hopefully in such situations the best decision will be made with the infant as the priority.

There's also the question of what should happen if a woman is raped, and she becomes pregnant. Honestly, I don't know how I would handle thinking of carrying my rapist's baby, and further even caring for the child who boar so much resemblance to someone who inflicted so much pain to me.

Above all, I think that advice from loved ones should be sought out and the decision needs to be made with as much integrity as possible.
