This week’s markdowns at all the major retailers means handbags are flying out of stock before you can say “I’ll take 2, please!”, so I won’t tease you with any handbag recommendation since they’re likely to be gone before I even publish this week’s
Luxe For Less. Instead, I’m recommending a few choice
accessories for your accessories.
I don’t know about you, but my handbag is always a big mess. On days when I’m toting a structured bag with many compartments (like my
Marc Jacobs Hudson), the mess is usually contained and semi-sortable. On the days when I’m wearing a one-compartment bag (like my
Hermès Birkin or
Kelly), lord have mercy on you if you should ask me to locate any item in my bag. Luckily,
Purseket.com has the answer!
Purseket is an organizer made up of small pouches in which you can place your items. The organizer folds to fit any width purse and comes in 3 sizes to fit bags from small to large. Purseket makes switching purses easy — simply pick up the purseket and transfer!
Starting at just $18, it can change your purse life!
Once you have your items under control, you might want to invest in a
key finder. This item, I swear by! I used to be the girl who spent 10 whole minutes digging for my keys in the dark, looking increasingly suspect with each passing minute spent muttering to myself. While browsing
eBay one day, I came across the key finder and love it so much, I’m sharing it here with you. It attaches to your keys and then hooks onto your purse so that it’ll be handy at a moment’s notice. Even in cavernous bags like my
Wisteria Fendi Spy, finding my keys is a snap. There are so many choices on eBay, you’re bound to find one (or 2 or 3) that you love - just search for ‘key finder’. At around $7 each, it’s a smart buy… especially if it keeps the neighbors from calling the cops on you.

If you’re done organizing the inside of your purse, and want a way to jazz up the outside, you may want to consider the
Coach monogram charm. My darling cousin in Seattle sent me one last year and I love it. It attaches by way of a dogleash clip, onto a handle or a ring. Each side is a different color, so you can use it with a number of bags. It’s available at
Coach.com for $30 but I’ve seen them for half that on eBay.
