Dear pradaprincess...IMHO, some anxiety is fine, but when it interferes with your life excessively and irrationally, YES you should talk to a doctor or better yet, a therapist. I would say first try some talk therapy for several sessions - these days Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is almost like coaching. I have been in talk therapy since last July - it's been a lifesaver. If necessary, the therapist may suggest an anti-anxiety med (a relative of mine took one for a month after one of her parents died, it helped her sleep and get through the pain). But my suggestion is to seek therapy first and explore - what are you really anxious about?
