Have you ever taken Midol?
I was thinking about taking it but I'm not sure it really works on the fatigue part.
What was your experience with it?

I couldn't get through my cycle without it. My cramps are horrible and the mood swings are unbearable....for my family that is. Haha!

I hear you! I've had some monster cramps and it seems they get worse as I get older. The first PMS symptom I get I run for the medicine cabinet.

What are the active ingredients in Midol? Is it better than taking a regular anti-inflammatory? I don't normally get cramps, but I came off the contraceptive injections (after using them over a year) and my body seems a bit confused at the moment...

I have used Midol, and while it worked for my cramps, it was just as effective as Advil for me. I don't know if everybody would have the same results, but I stick with Advil since I have it laying around anyway.

I use to use it all the time for my cramps. Now I kind of just deal with them. Though the Midol did help with bloating too

Midol works pretty well during that time of month. The first day is really bad for me and I only need it then but it works the best out of all the over the counter drugs I've tried to relieve my cramps.

I've used this once in the past when I was having heavy flows and cramps that I couldn't tolerate. The cramps were gone almost immediately. I know it works for symptoms associated with menstruation.

Yep, when I was 16-20 my menstrual cramps were terrible! I hated the feeling.
Now, I'm 24 and I don't experience cramps anymore. Thank goodness!

the older I get, the worse my cramps get. I was wondering just how useful Midol was....I might have to see about picking some up sometime. It would beat feeling like I need to lay in bed for a day or two.

Midol is really effective, it takes away all the pain.
Goodness, why do women have to suffer?

I have endometriosis and Mydol never touched the pain. Plus, it seems to me there was diuretic in it, and I was going to the bathroom constantly. I hope it works for you though.

Go for it. It's harmless and it helps if you experience any side-effects!

I sometimes use it for cramps, works pretty good I guess. Sometimes it can make them worse if you take too much in too short of a time period though, so watch out!

midols ingredients
midol has pain killer, diuretic as basic ingredients. It also depends on which formulation you get. I have endo with fibroids, and midol for PMS works wonders.......
It wa sthe first thing i took when i was 9 and got my period for teh first time.....

I started taking midol about 2 years ago now..maybe longer.I like it. I mainly get massive back pain, a little water retention, and migraines off and on around the time of the month.I take it when I feel like utter crap or the day I feel it comming on. It works better if I take it like that.

in my experience, it works GREAT for cramps but it didn't help with fatigue.
