Default Friends are divorcing - stuck in the middle

I have friends who are ending their marriage. I like both of them. How do I keep from getting in the middle?

Unfortunately, that's hard. IT depends on how mature your friends are. If they don 't demand you choose and don't talk about the other in front of you, then it can easily be accomplished. Just spend time with each of them separately. I know my sister's best friends divorced; she is still friends with both and talks to them both regularly. She doesn't, however, invite them to the same events or get-togethers. That's a bit much. But neither place demands on her to choose or talks poorly about the other in her presence. YOu probably need to insist on that.

If I Was you I would let your friends know that you are not getting into the middle. That they are your friends and both will remain your friends no matter what. However, it is their personal issue and they need to work it out themselves.
