Question Liver tumor/ Cyst on ovary?!

So I've just started using birth control about 4 months ago, and i have an odd question for you all...

I have an oddly shaped bump on the left side of my bottom stomach... It hurts when I press on it hard but I don't know what the hell it is...

I read the pamphlet I was given when I got my birth control, and it said something about a risk of getting a liver tumor when using birth control... Could this be a liver tumor?

I also think it could be a cyst on my ovary... Could it be a cyst on my ovary?

Default It could be something else

First your liver is on your right side, So I doubt its a liver tumor. Theer are oodles of things it could be, including diverticultis, hernia, appendicitis rebound.
Usually ovarian pain is in the side towards the back right above the hips.
But you never know. I would schedule an appointment with either your gyne or your MD to have an ultra sound done.

With an internal ultrasound they'll be able to see if there is a problem with the overies or something on the inside that could be causing a problem thats noticiable on the outside.

I can't offer you advice other then make an appointment for the doctors or OB's office.I wouldn't put it off to long either in case there is a more serious issue.

You should definitely make an appointment with your doctor. If you want to do some research in the meantime, check out the Healia Communities website where you can get advice from medical professionals and also talk to others who have a similar problem. Good luck!

Yeah thanks, I just went to the doctors today. They didn't even check out the bump? They made me pee in a cup. They said I have a UTI. =/ I got medicine though so it should get better, hopefully...

Really? Did you have any burning when peeing though? I only had one UTI and it was when I had a miscarriage.I was always told someone would know because it would burn when they peed. Ok, maybe I'm prying to much. But, I hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, it burns. That's why I went. I didn't go for the bump, but a few days it started to burn so that's why I really went. I said something about the bump to the doctors, but they said it wasn't a kidney stone or anything that had to do with the bump. So, I don't know...
