Gucci Joy Medium Boston bag gets a tattoo
| By: Samantha | ||

What are they thinking over at Gucci? The F/W bags were killer, but the release of the cruise bags for 2009 have proven to be less than stellar. Case in point: the Gucci Joy Medium Boston bag with its tattoo. Yes, that’s right…they put a tattoo on a bag. Why? Don’t ask us. Perhaps they thought it would give the Speedy-esque bag an edge, or maybe they were on drugs, but this bag is a severe miss. I can’t imagine anyone getting away with this thing, but I’m sure we’ll see it on the arm of Paris Hilton soon enough.
The new and tattoo-ed Gucci Joy Medium Boston bag retails for $695 and is available at saks.com.

thing is, tattoo art is no longer radical, nor unique — it’s everywhere, esp since john hardy line has been sold to every retailer in the world now. i’ve seen piles of the stuff thrown around at tj maxx! nothing exclusive about this look — in fact, it’s kind of late to be jumping on the tattoo bandwagon, methinks.
I don’t see anything wrong with the bag. I think it’s rather cute! Sometimes people look way too deep into things. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it…but there is no need to treat the bag like a stepchild!!!
l’m thinking of buying it because it looks good and i dont care if its a miss in the gucci brand pplz do think to much into it and ruin it for people who want to buy it.I think this bag is for the youth and its at a more reasonable price than the other bags and its not intented for prunes;)!
