I normally love, love, love Burberry and its creative use of the classic house check print, but the overuse of buckles on this bag, paired with the rather bleak-looking mustard hue, makes it a complete mess. The first thing I thought about when I saw this purse was a peacock feather. Burberry is best known for their plaid designs, but the Printed Cotton Canvas & Leather Shoulder Bag sure is a nice change of pace! It’s the perfect warm weather bag: fresh and clean looking, with a very essential burst of white and little pops of turquoise to bring it to life. It’s been a while since I’ve spotted a Burberry purse that really, really impressed me. The label occasionally turns out designs that go against the grain a bit, so they don’t look quite as classic Burberry as I like. This Nude Check Wristlet, though, is true to form: gently curved at its base, with a slinky chain strap that brings a little glamour to the equation. The label’s Color Block Leather Jameson Tote is supposedly “Americana-inspired,” so it lacks those very particular Burberry-esque aesthetics that fans adore. What can I even say about this crazy expensive Burberry Small Alligator and Suede Contrast Clutch? Well, I’ll never in a million years own one! This pricey shell-shaped pouch features hand-dyed alligator leather, a central suede panel with oversized leather tassels, a detachable flat leather shoulder strap, two interior patch pockets, one zipped pocket, polished brass attachments, and a plaque engraved with the Burberry Prorsum logo. Lavish details come with lavish costs! Be prepared to drop $9,995 on this beauty if you want to make it your own – it’s available at Burberry.

I was just reading something about how yellow is a major red carpet player this season, so I guess purses like this Burberry Textured-Leather Crossbody Bag make sense from a trendsetter’s point of view.
