The singer accented her denim jacket and camo pants with the flashy handbag, which probably isn’t something you’d take out on the battlefield. And is that a Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse duffle I spy in the background? Looks like Rihanna is keeping some good company these days.

Classic Chanel. This season, the legendary Karl Lagerfeld actually seemed to move away from the signature details that this house is known for. Little black dress? Nope. Gold chains and braid? Didn’t see them. This confectionery colored collection had variations of the iconic Chanel suit of course, but with unexpected silver lame, liquid silver and silver leather details instead. Look upon look came down the runway like the frosted tops of cupcakes, right to the poufy retro-style bouffants. Dresses were lighter than air silk, draped or jeweled. While I found most of the show absolutely beautiful, I had to admit, some silhouettes were not very flattering to many bodies.

Favorite look? I loved the cape of handmade silk roses (about 35 o00, give or take a few!)

The bags? Hmm, for this particular presentation, the models didn’t carry any. At this level of luxury, why be distracted by anything else?

At first glance, I thought this brunette beauty was Katy Perry. Then I noticed the fab Chanel handbag and realized it was none other than an incognito Ashlee Simpson. The “Chicago” star battled with wintry weather by bundling up in a leather jacket and a giant scarf, but she didn’t mind exposing her Chanel to the elements. Heck, if that drawstring beauty was mine, I’d show it off too.

Could Reese Witherspoon be any cuter? Methinks not. The always polished star looked chic but approachable in a pink cardigan, tall boots and a pretty dress, but it’s her gray quilted Chanel purse that I’ve really got my eye on. I love the gray tone – so hot this season – and love how the handbag works with her outfit. Well done!

New mama Sarah Michelle Gellar looked slim and chic on a recent outing, and of course her fabulous black quilted Chanel 2.55 purse might have had a little something to do with that. The actress’s black blazer and edgy gold necklace added a downtown-cool contrast to the Chanel’s classic aesthetic. All in all, a great look.
