A girly handbag doesn’t earn its stripes unless it’s pink – that much is sort of a given. Lately, though, it seems it’s not truly worthy of the label unless it also has some scalloped trim worked somewhere into the mix. The Chloe Marcie Bum Bag is a sportier crossbody version of the Chloe Marcie satchel. It’s a classy leather bag in a lovely, rich red, but if I was going to spend the big bucks for a little purse, I’d be inclined to opt for something a little less trendy. As convenient and cute as the crossbody might be, I fear its days are numbered. But perhaps the smaller version is more budget-friendly than its full-size counterpart? It’s $665 at SSENSE.

Gasp! Tiffany blue! And on a Chloe bag! I’m not usually wild about Chloe, but apparently a little color can make a world of difference. The label’s Sally Medium Shoulder Bag is absolutely adorable, something I simply can’t remember ever saying about a Chloe purse. Not only is it bright and uplifting in a color they call “emerald” (really? This is emerald?), it’s also very neat and pulled together.
