I do love See by Chloe, whose bags are more attractive and more reasonably priced than the main line. The Suzie Leather Messenger Bag represents well what I love most about the label. This is a classic, simple bag by all accounts – the shape is almost old-fashioned, the color epitomizes demure and it ticks all the boxes where practicality is concerned. One of spring’s most anticipated trends, vertical stripes, makes its appearance on the new Chloe The Alison Cotton and Leather Shopper. Designed primarily to perform, this is less high-fashion than the label’s other bags, but it’s no less impressive. It’s nice and large, with plenty of pockets and sides that fold out for extra storage space. The striped print nods to the trend, but isn’t really the very best representation I’ve seen so far. It’s a known fact that even faux snakeskin can look alarmingly authentic, especially when none of the little details are left behind. This See by Chloe April Snake-Stamped Leather Trapeze Tote is a fantastic example: it’s heavily textured with embossed edges and features a genuine-looking pattern. Even the color mimics that of an actual snake (there are even some hot pink snakes out there, did ya know?).
