* When you are ready to store your bag, store it right. To help your bag keep its shape, fill it with acid-free tissue paper. Store your bag in a fabric pouch, away from intense heat. If you can’t find a fabric pouch, a pillow case will work great.

Does it really matter what color this short shoulder handbag comes in? I can not, even for one second, imagine anything other then a Chinese food delivery carton. This bag is suppose to be high fashion and it looks like china towns special delivery. Beyond the bizarre shape, the blue/ green python looks like a whore in make-up. Cheap. The Small Frame bag is available at devikroell.com for $2290. Now I do not want to rain all over Devi Kroell, she has and will design some fabulous bags. Take for example her frame fold over bag (pictured above on the model), this large size bag was a success for spring. However, by paring this frame bag down to petite, it lost its star power. I would say no to carton inspired evening bags. The Small Frame Bag should be taken out with the trash. If you must have it thou, please do not over fill it. Take only the essentials and let the bag flatten out to resemble it’s big sister the frame fold over bag.

Cynthia Nixon revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago. Kudos to her for speaking out about this. Hopefully this will inspire other women to get their mammograms and make it a routine. Someone in my own family was touched by breast cancer in her 30’s but thanks to early detection from a mammogram and they found it and got rid of it quickly. Thank God!

If you live in the Great White North, your only option for a high end department store experience is Holt Renfrew. Don’t get me wrong; it’s a great store, but the prices are through the roof. Expect at least a 30% price increase when you’re shopping north of the U.S. and we all know that a Holts sale is not really a sale. While you still do have to pay taxes and duties when shopping from Neiman’s, if you keep your eyes peeled for a deal, you may score big, especially considering that Holts carries about half of the selection that Neiman’s does when it comes to designer shoes and handbags.

I’m so glad Sweet P and Chris got to show their collections even if they were voted out. I like Sweet P’s style and Chris’s showmanship. I think Christian is going to win this. His final collection to me looks beautifully done. I can see some influences of Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs in it. I don’t know how a 21 year old can come up with such a sophisticated collection. I enjoy Jillian’s runway show as well.
