I’m 100% smitten with this vibrant Hermes Chevaux en Camouflage Beach Bag. It’s not often that you’ll find a Hermes bag with this much spunk and color, but I totally admire it! Heeeeey! (Yes, we know hay is for horses but hush!) Take a gander at this incredibly cool Hermes Steeple Bag – it’s high class, high fashion and obviously, high-priced, but we love it! It features richly printed canvas in a silky gray-beige, riding crop handles in wood with fauve goatskin and loads of interior space. This spectacular tote breaks our purse budget for the entire year but we’re sure it’s worth every penny! Find it at Hermes for $3,275.

In searching for handbags to write about, I recently came across an alligator backpack that retails for $38,500, more than what most of us paid for our first car (and maybe as much as some of us paid for our current car!).
Serious purse lovers know the big guns in the industry like Hermes, Proenza Schouler and Balenciaga regularly put out bags that go for $20,000 and up. So how much is too much to pay for a handbag?
Every woman has her own purse point. That being said, here are three bags that have made it into most of the top ten most expensive handbag lists. These items are not currently for sale, but I did include the official website for each designer so you can check out the new fall lines.
Do you love Chanel? Check this out. There are only thirteen Diamond Forever Classic Bags. Each one features 334 diamonds, totaling 3.56 carats, and an 18-carat white gold frame – and tops off at $261,000.
If you have an extra $150,000 you want to get rid of, you can throw it away on the Urban Satchel. Created and covered with “urban charms,” this LV bag is really just covered in trash. As Seth Meyers would say on SNL, “Really”? Even though it looks like a joke, there are celebrities and fashion icons who are fighting over this thing.
I don’t know any woman who wouldn’t welcome a Hermes bag into her wardrobe. Some styles are more attainable, but the Matte Crocodile Birkin is adorned with ten carats in diamonds and a white gold clasp. The price tag: $120,000.

A positively peachy Jessica Simpson was recently spotted wearing a lovely citrus toned Roberto Cavalli Long Kaftan Silk Dress with a matching Hermes Birkin Bag in orange. While she’s not yet flaunting her fall color palette, she looks stylish, well put together and disgustingly sweet all the same! Calling all Hermes loyalists! Feast your eyes on this fabulous Hermes Cabag Weekender Bag. It’s a little bit bold, a little bit glam and a whole lot of money. However, as far as a Hermes price tag is concerned, it’s reasonably affordable. It features double handles, a shoulder strap, an inside pocket and press studs on the side to adjust its width. This bag is an excellent investment for fall and would be especially nice for a teacher or tutor with a few extra bucks (kind of an oxymoron, I realize, but hey, you never know!) to tote those heavy books to and from class. I’m not sure which would be easier to check off of my bucket list – to have a Hermes bag named after me, or to actually own one. These extraordinary luxe lovelies are usually honored with the name of a special woman – Grace Kelly and Jane Birkin, to name a few. The Catenina, however, bears the Italian name of the thin silver chains that are a key feature on this unique evening bag. I’m not really sure how I feel about this Hermes Chocolate Box Calfskin Medor Clutch. I think it has me a tad starstruck or something … I seem to be at a loss for words. It features stunning silver hardware with magnificent studded clasp detailing. It’s also available in a soft rouge color with golden hardware, as well as in a smaller size in both colors. The inside is very spacious and has a single large open pocket perfect for your credit cards, cash and an i.d. All right, I just decided. I love it! Find it at Hermes for $4,500.

A very pretty and pregnant Alanis Morissette was out and about recently with her hot little Hermes Bag in hand. She truly is one of those pregnant women who glow, and it doesn’t really matter what she wears at this point, she’s positively ravishing! I will say though, that her purse choice is perfect: it complements her new mom-to-be look in a way I might never have expected. This classic bag must have absorbed some of that new mom glow! I swear I’d overlooked it until I saw her sporting it, and now I really want one! Get a Hermes Evelyne Bag of your own for $2,500 at Hermes. Oh, and congrats Alanis, I couldn’t be happier for you!
