But lest you think she’s gone classy, she opted to ditch her trousers, turning up in a very short white top (dress?) that leaves little to the imagination. Oh, Pam – you always did know how to keep us entertained.

She may have lost Reggie Bush, but Kim Kardashian has gained one heck of a new boyfriend: an ivory white Hermes Birkin. The reality star tried to go incognito in New York City, but it’s hard to do that with an Hermes handbag on your arm. I like Kim’s mix of the classic Hermes with trendy slashed-up jeans and black gladiator sandals – youthful but fashion-savvy at the same time.

Think Victoria Beckham is the biggest Hermes fan on the planet? Think again. Gossip Girl mama Kelly Rutherford loves the designer brand so much, she named her kid Hermes. For real. So it’s not too surprising to see the actress, expecting her second child (who hopefully fares better in the name lottery), toting a soft brown Hermes Birkin. The color suits her pink blouse and white jeans nicely, and all together it’s a chic look. Serena and Blair would definitely approve.

Now, normally I’d scoff at a gal waltzing into the gym with a designer purse on her arm. Arm candy belongs at the galleria, not some sweaty gym. Still, I can’t help but admire Nicky Hilton‘s odd-but-chic workout ensemble paired with a to-die-for Hermes Birkin. Sure, it’s “silly,” but the sleek monochrome style flows nicely, especially given Nicky’s edgy leather jacket, which mirrors the bag’s leather. Now, I wonder how many calories you can burn by carrying Hermes?

Oh, Vicky, you’re always keeping us on our toes, aren’t you? Well, I’ll say this: fabulous Hermes Birkin, darling. Now if I could just wrap my head around the rest of your ‘daring’ ensemble. To be honest, I don’t know whether to love it or hate it. True, for Milan Fashion Week anything goes, but perhaps someone should remind Posh that a) it’s a fashion show, not a funeral, and b) she’s in her 30s, so she should stop dressing like Carrie Donovan (RIP). The hair accessory is pretty, but perhaps a tad too kooky for this severe all-black look.

Newlywed (again) Heidi Montag managed to give hubby Spencer Pratt the slip and instead spent some quality time with sis-in-law Stephanie and a flashy lime green Hermes Birkin purse. I love me some Hermes, if not some Heidi, but the lime hue is a bit too Kermity for her pastel top. I’d have gone for a soft white instead.

Nicole Richie may not be on the radar the way she once was, but that can be chalked up to having a child, becoming a near-wife to a fellow celeb, and oh yeah, STILL dealing with her run-in with the law from over two years ago. Nicole paid yet another visit to her defensive driving school and this time, she wasn’t playing around. Carrying an Hermes Birkin is one way to say, I’m a celeb and you’re not, but her drab ensemble definitely identifies with the “little people.” Or, you know, the homeless. From here, Nicole’s Birkin looks to be a brilliant orange, but not the signature orange Hermes is known for. This shade is a little darker, and it appears to be the standard togo leather topped with gold hardware. Yum!

I die! Bananas! I, uh…skipped lunch? Rachel Zoe gets props for her rocker-chic ensemble (very Kate Moss, don’t you think), and that black Hermes Birkin is certainly gorgeous. BUT. Is it just me or does the celebrity stylist desperately need to take some of that Bravo money and invest in a donut? Or twenty.
