Oh, I so wish I needed a backpack! Unfortunately, I’ve been out of school for years now and am not exactly in the habit of slinging one on these days. This Juicy Couture Eleanor Neoprene Backpack is definitely tempting me, though. First of all, neoprene? Sold. It’s one of the softest, most cushiony materials ever. Second, pink? No, better than pink – they call this pretty hue dragonfruit. It’s one of my favorite shades, and here it’s trimmed with a hint of beige for a little contrast. Not only do I adore this Juicy Couture Olympia Leather Hobo, but I also love the names of the colors it’s available in (yeah, I get my kicks from the small stuff)! What are these savvy color names I speak of? Well, there’s Warm Chestnut (a.k.a. brown), Deep Petrol (a.k.a teal), Apple Blossom (a.k.a. bubblegum pink) and Black (yup… just black). I’ve got to hand it to Juicy Couture: they made something completely basic look interesting and downright complex. The label’s Miss World Tote really could have been just another black bag, but instead it’s one of the most striking pieces to hit shelves this season. The highlight is the ombre-finished fabric, which moves from a shock of disco-ball silver to a warm, radiant gold. Mixing metallics is always a bit tricky, but Juicy Couture gets it exactly right here. The (faux) black leather trim and understated tassels boost the bag’s appearance and make it even more attractive. Find it for $198 at Nordstrom.
