There are some to-die-for Louis Vuitton purses out there, but the simple and chic Suede Asphalt is one of my favorites. And apparently Sienna Miller agrees! The British actress grabbed the handbag to go with her jeans, pink top and fur coat. Fur and Louis Vuitton? Now that’s the luxe life, baby.

Shorts, sweats, and a monogram Louis Vuitton handbag? Er…okay. Jessica Simpson glammed up her casual outfit with a classic Louis Vuitton, which I of course worship. The bag is the perfect size for everyday activities and even weekend getaways, though I have to say it looks much better when it’s paired with a more dressed-up outfit. Bust out that LBD, Jess!

We just finished mopping up the drool caused by Daisy Lowe‘s candy-colored swimwear campaign for Louis Vuitton, but it looks like the British model is already back at work shooting more images for the label. The cutie hit the beach in Miami armed with a fierce Louis Vuitton swimsuit, checkerboard-print visor and matching tote (love, love, love). Can’t wait to see the final shots!

In the age of digital speed, Avatar and cyber-shopping, it seems like everything is racing for the future. Marc Jacobs on the other hand, brought Louis Vuitton‘s Fall Ready to Wear collection back in the other direction. The clothing had very conservative silhouettes. Super-elongated jackets, hair pulled back, faded vintage florals. A few country plaids. The style evoked Chloe Sevigny’s character in HBO’s “Big Love” or a depression-era schoolteacher. Colors were muted, dusty. The shapes were still quite feminine, and a few pieces looked like the schoolmarm wanted to break out in the vintage patterned corset styling.
The handbags had some of the muted mustards. Some of the quilted monagram pieces had dusty pastels that worked back to the clothing. Some bags had very luxurious fur worked into the bag (I’m seeing a big comeback in fur across most of the Paris collections). Dark appliqued blocked florals were also seen on many of the handbags as well, with lace and hand-painted crocodile texture.

Going through a Louis Vuitton withdrawal? Desperate for some sun? Well, I can’t change the weather but I can reveal this sunny new ad for Louis Vuitton swimwear, which stars model Daisy Lowe and some delicious pink and purple Murakami handbags. The jolt of color is just what I need to get in the summer mindset, and I can’t wait to pair these purses with a chic sundress (or LV bikini if I can swing it). How about you?

Sheesh — could Hilary Duff have a bigger designer handbag stockpile? Homegirl seems to be carrying a new status bag every time I see her. This time it’s a classic monogram Louis Vuitton purse, which looks great with her beachy shades and off-white ensemble. Color me jealous.

You could also create your design and bring it to the boutique to execute for you.
This certainly saves the awkward mix-ups at the airport…Just make sure your initials don’t spell anything obscene!

Sheesh. We mere mortals generally make do with a simple beach tote when we head to the ocean. But in Lindsay Lohan‘s world, it takes a Louis Vuitton monogrammed suitcase, a vibrant tie-dyed Matthew Williamson purse, a small bag, plus a sequinned handbag. Dare we wonder what all these handbags hold? Er…maybe not.

Life is good for Marc Jacobs! Not only did he get to spend his holidays in St. Bart’s with his hot boyfriend, Lorenzo, but the two had plenty of designer handbag candy to tote around (beach totes are sooooooo last year). Looks like Santa brought Marc a fab Hermes Birkin handbag, while Lorenzo flashed a Richard Prince for Louis Vuitton tote. And don’t forget the Stephen Sprouse Louis Vuitton towels the duo donned. Color me jealous!

We all know Jessica Simpson loves her Louis Vuitton handbags – especially when she’s hitting the gym – but this monogram and leopard-print purse really pops. The rest of Jessica’s outfit is obviously much more winter-centric than glam, but I think the ensemble toes the line between cozy and chic.
