As a frequent traveler, it’s always tough to take my current (usually large) handbag on trips, especially given carry-on limitations and the fact that once I get to my destination, I don’t want to tote around the huge purse I use to stash my magazines, water, snacks, and computer in for the flight. While there’s always the option of a clutch, I generally go for a soft  bag that folds down and fits in my suitcase. Lanvin‘s Longchamp Xlight Nylon Crossbody Bag is just perfect for travel in that sense, but truthfully, the practicality was an afterthought. It’s the color of this bag that grabbed me. It’s just the right balance between mauve and the grey/beige (or “greige”, though I don’t know about that terminology…) tone that’s so on-trend right now. It’ll work for spring because of the purple tone, but the shade of the crossbody is just neutral enough that I could pull it off with anything.
