Luxe For Less: Accessories for your purse
| By: Fate | ||
This week’s markdowns at all the major retailers means handbags are flying out of stock before you can say “I’ll take 2, please!”, so I won’t tease you with any handbag recommendation since they’re likely to be gone before I even publish this week’s Luxe For Less. Instead, I’m recommending a few choice accessories for your accessories.
I don’t know about you, but my handbag is always a big mess. On days when I’m toting a structured bag with many compartments (like my Marc Jacobs Hudson), the mess is usually contained and semi-sortable. On the days when I’m wearing a one-compartment bag (like my Hermès Birkin or Kelly), lord have mercy on you if you should ask me to locate any item in my bag. Luckily, Purseket.com has the answer!

Once you have your items under control, you might want to invest in a key finder. This item, I swear by! I used to be the girl who spent 10 whole minutes digging for my keys in the dark, looking increasingly suspect with each passing minute spent muttering to myself. While browsing eBay one day, I came across the key finder and love it so much, I’m sharing it here with you. It attaches to your keys and then hooks onto your purse so that it’ll be handy at a moment’s notice. Even in cavernous bags like my Wisteria Fendi Spy, finding my keys is a snap. There are so many choices on eBay, you’re bound to find one (or 2 or 3) that you love – just search for ‘key finder’. At around $7 each, it’s a smart buy… especially if it keeps the neighbors from calling the cops on you.

My purse was a mess before I got my purse organizer at http://www.joeyjunior.com.
I got a zebra print to go with my Dooney and Bourke Zebra purse. It is so easy to find things in my purse now, it even has a ky clip so I don’t have to dig for my keys. You can also move it from purse to purse. I change my purses all of the time. I love purse organizers!
I am also into handbags in a big way and there always seems one more I need to buy =)
Biggest problem I have is that I seem to carry my whole life inside my bag and it is difficult to find anything when I need it, especially when I am in a hurry or laden down with shopping….
I recently purchased a very clever purse organizer called PurseNeat from pursesitter.com. Nice colors, mine is pink. The best thing about Purseneat is it has a removable pocket / extension which can be added or removed according to the size of the handbag. I can use it in my medium or large handbags and everything always stays in the same pocket =D I love, love, love this convenient feature!
Best of all when I am running late in the mornings, I can simply grab my purseneat and transfer it to a new bag which matches my outfit.
This handy organizer really helps to keep all of my things organized and within easy reach. It helped me and I hope it will help you too =)
Thanks so much for writing about PURSEKET The Original Purse Organizer!
Two tiny corrections: The PURSEKET doesn’t “fold”, it rolls to conform to the shape of the purse, tote, drawer or basket — adding support and organization without altering the outer appearance of the handbag.
And as adorable as the key finders are, all PURSEKETS come with a handy key post. Just pop your keys over the post and no more digging!
Thanks again for the mention!
