Oh, Marc. Marc, Marc, Marc. MJ. My love. It’s with great fondness that I ask why this hideous beast of a bag made its way into your fall/winter 2011 collection for Marc by Marc Jacobs. I get that animal prints are a big deal (as they should be), but actual animals plastered over bag flaps, masquerading as some kind of chic ornamentation? We have to draw the line there, my friend. And does anyone really want to own a bag called the Predator Panther? Just makes you shudder, doesn’t it? Available for $330 at Net-a-Porter.

Totally disagree!!! This bag is fierce. I guess it just takes a strong woman to appreciate it.
I like the idea, but the panther’s head looks a little funky. If the panther was prettier, I’d go for it.
Whoa there. A reptile-patterned panther isn’t strong, it’s silly. It’s like something Will Ferrell would come up with, if he had a handbag movie, anyway.
