Color me disappointed. While I’ve always counted this Marc by Marc Jacobs Totally Turnlock Jacquetta as a favorite in terms of appearance, I was less than impressed by it in person. As so many Marc Jacobs bags are, it’s exquisite to the touch and crafted of the most buttery leather out there. Yet the dual handle straps are ridiculous, ladies. They’re so small that they seem to just barely extend from the bag, and certainly aren’t practical given the amount of stuff Jacquetta can hold. Let’s say you fill it to capacity. You then attempt to slip it over your wrist. In a word: ouch. Also: impossible. There just isn’t enough space between the bag and the straps. Not worth $398 in my book. I am dying over the lilac hue, though! Find it at Zappos Couture.
