On cardigans, skirts, blouses, and ballet flats, polka dots are a welcome addition that put a playful spin on otherwise completely practical pieces. On this version of the famed Marc Jacobs The Large Single Bag, the polka dot looks absurd, cheap and unimaginative. There’s nothing engaging or endearing about the dots here; they’re just slapped willy nilly all over dark red leather.
