Birds are definitely an integral part of Marc Jacobs‘ spring collection. That’s quite evident on his Tropical Birds Chappy Bird Tote, as well as a handful of other styles featuring some of our beautiful feathered friends in all their fashionable, colorful glory. This particular tote is made of nylon and dressed up with a sequined bird, while a black ribbon graces each side. While the design is fun and not quite as terribly tacky as it might sound on paper, the fact remains that it’s just another embellished nylon handbag without a closure (something I generally dislike when it comes to tote bags). Available for $1450 at Saks Fifth Avenue.
