What do you do with a bag that has a great design and an awful color? This is definitely the case with the Michael Kors Small Leather Tote. The purse is touted as a compact alternative to beach bag-sized totes, but in reality, it’s a solid size. With double top handles as well as a detachable leather-and-chain shoulder strap, this tote can be carried as a shoulder bag or held in the hands. The only real problem with this bag is its color. The drab cement hue is dragging this otherwise-hip bag down. All the decorative elements, like the faux lock and the beautiful silver hardware, are overshadowed by the color. With a price tag of under $200, though, it may be worth a second look as a basic piece when that loud and sassy bag in your closet just won’t do.
