Only Alexander McQueen could put together details like camouflage, skulls and roses and make them look like they belong with one another. The designer’s amazing spirit lives on in bags like this Camouflage Skull and Rose Tote, a spacious and elegant looking canvas carryall etched with an imaginative print. As you’d expect, it’s all skulls, roses and darkness – but it somehow looks decadent and even a bit romantic. The marriage of rich browns, maroons, creams and moss greens is almost exquisite, but what I find most intriguing is the way those skulls, playing perfectly with the roses, look so charming.
