Thud! Oh, sorry – that was just the sound of this Anya Hindmarch Perry Patchwork Bag falling flat. I’m a reasonably big fan of Hindmarch’s work, but this 1970s-flavored number – featuring a black, brown, and bisque-ish patchwork assortment of ponyskin panels – is giving me Brady Bunch flashbacks. And not the good kind. I think the problem lies in the overly graphic, Tetris-esque T-shaped pattern; it’s hard to appreciate the purse as a whole when you’re fixated on each individual panel.
