Low in price it may be, but this Banana Republic Madison Clutch is more comparable to its pricey counterparts than you would think. In fact, it’s just as chic as some of those, what with its slinky gold strap, soft (faux) leather and minimal hardware. The lean silhouette is its strong point; it looks adorable carried under the arm for a casual look (just slip the strap inside), but it works as a polished bag for dinner, too. It’s available in neutral hues, but I’m partial to this just-bright-enough orange. Find it for $49.50 at Banana Republic.
