Typically, I find heart patterns a little too twee, but I love the “heart trail” pattern on the Diane von Furstenberg Drew Suede Applique Bucket Tote. It reminds me very much of the card soldiers in Alice in Wonderland, which I suppose means that the print is more reminiscent of spades than hearts. I’m not sure how I would wear this bold, graphic bag other than with a sleek, solid-colored dress, which unfortunately means I can’t justify its price tag. If you can, get yours for $845 at Nordstrom.

I can also envision it with solid coordinates and a white blouse. It’s a beautiful pattern, and I just love that it has both handles and the strap!
