Though giant bags enjoyed quite a bit of fanfare several years ago (thanks to the likes of the Olsen twins), they’ve pared down significantly in recent years. That’s not to say large carryalls are out of style, but they aren’t the only cool thing to carry anymore. Oversize clutches, though, are still fairly trendy and have stolen quite a bit of the spotlight away from their more dainty counterparts. I suppose that makes this Maison Martin Margiela Giant Pleated Clutch a worthwhile mention. Cloaked in thick black leather, folded delicately down the front and back and measuring an impressive 17 inches wide, this unusual piece has enough room to store nearly all of your basic handbag essentials. Fortunately, they were smart and threw in a strap - who wants to lug around a giant clutch filled with so much stuff? Take it or leave it. I’m too much of a pack rat to enjoy it, strap or not.
