Valentino showed several handbags during his recent Paris ready-to-wear fashion show. For the most part the bags were black and sleek, ranging from a petite patent leather clutch to an oversized leather handbag to a shoulder bag discreetly tucked under the arm but boasting an embellished strap. There was one standout, a bold blue leather bag with black trim and lots of zippers. It was surprisingly modern for such a classic designer.
