Talk about brand loyalty. Victoria’s Secret cutie Miranda Kerr - who has been dazzling us lately with a whirlwind of designer handbags and outfits - stepped up her game at the airport with not one, not two, but three pieces of Louis Vuitton goodness. Combined with her black shades and peachy-nude trench (so gorgeous, by the way), she put all of us slobs who roll up in our terry-cloth trackpants and Uggs to shame. I love how she mixes and matches the Louis Vuitton prints, too - it goes, but without being too matchy.

A slightly unfinished quality dominates the Safety Pin Clutch by Marc Jacobs. I love the rich cobalt blue hue, perfect for the summer-into-fall transition (yes, I know it’s a little early to be thinking of that stuff). The safety pin is a surprisingly able embellishment, thanks largely to its jumbo size and the addition of a clashing yet strangely befitting apple green stone. OK, it’s edgy,  a little quirky and unusual, but stands out and makes a statement amid the sea of basic bags. Also in black. Avalable for $595 at Nordstrom.
