I’m still scratching my head over the unlikely marriage of Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams, but I have to admit the couple do look pretty loved-up in this snapshot. But not as loved-up as Mandy and her stone-wash Alexander Wang Donna Hobo do. The Wang handbags are getting major play right now, and though I prefer the studded black leather bags to this ’80s-tastic version, I certainly wouldn’t kick it out of my closet.

Stop…HAMMER TIME. Fergie’s attempt to bring Hammer pants back from the dead fell with a big thud (thank God!), and those blue-trimmed shades didn’t fare much better. On the bright side, Fergie did earn some style points for pairing this disastrous look with Alexander Wang’s Donna Hobo, the bag du jour for rocker girls. But seriously…who the hell let her out of the house like this?

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick took some time out from Twin Duty for a little Mommy and Daddy Time, and boy did they look sharp. Matthew’s suit is pretty dapper (and would be even more so if he tucked that shirt in), though it doesn’t hold a candle to his leopard-print vest from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. It hasn’t been a good month for Jessica Simpson, what with her breakup with Tony Romo and all. But that’s not going to stop the girl from getting back out there and exorcising (and exercising) some demons at the gym. Normally I’m not a fun of the giant designer purse look at the gym, but I do have a soft spot for Louis Vuitton, so I’ll let this lovely monogram bag slide. Just don’t let it get sweaty, Jess!

The outfit is nothing to write home about, but the handbag adds just the right amount of a luxury polish. Sooooo much hotter than her butterfly era.

Rihanna gets a lot of flack sometimes for her out-there outfits, but I personally love her creativity and designer savvy. She’s like the female Kanye West. I mean - just look at those ankle boots! This boyish ensemble might look silly on other gals, but Rihanna has the confidence to make it work. And what’s this thin clutch all about? I like the contrast trim, but I’m not 100% on the designer. Care to take a guess?
