Normally I don’t go for patchwork, well, anything, but Claudia’s colorful patchwork Balenciaga handbag does add a nice visual pop against her neutral outfit (which I adore). If it’s Lanvin, I love it, without question. But this new Lanvin Pompon PM Cabas Tote in a Technicolor-bright cerise? Fuhgeddaboudit, I’m sold. The masses of deconstructed, shredded grosgrain ribbon rosettes send frills (ha, get it?) up my spine, and the chain link handle wrapped in nylon is durable-but-girly. I can just see myself strolling down the Champs Élysées on a spring afternoon, looking impossibly chic and Parisian, swinging this tote and an armful of couture shopping bags while Gerard Butler asks if I want to stop for a chocolat chaud. Ah… l’amour!

I’m on the fence about the hair — I’d need to see it styled — but the roomy leather purse is pretty fierce. The rest of the outfit (those boots! that hat!) leaves much to be desired though. Then again, it’s nice to see a star board a plane looking like a normal person for a change.
